Actually, we've already entered it, even though we don't usually perceive the steep, dark cliffs.
The Buddha, of course, taught that we didn't have to go down that road. Instead, he taught "a way leading to the cessation of aging and death."
We are bound to aging and death - time itself - by the Three Poisons (the kleshas of anger, desire, and ignorance).
So this week Ox Herding will look at the role of the kleshas in our experience of time. I have no scholarly expertise in time, but as do we all, I have intimate experience of it. Perhaps this is enough.
Enjoy the ride!
Are we there yet?

What does the other road look like? I think I may have passed it a few miles back.

Funny comments, everyone. Are we there, yet? Who's driving this thing, anyway? Is there another road? I'm still laughing!
