I leave in a few minutes for a retreat at Empty Gate Zen Center in Berkeley, California, so I won't be around to post the usual Friday video.
But, since Zen students don't attach to name and form <snark>, I've declared today "Friday" so you can enjoy this week's offering.
It's a charming animation of the poet Billy Collins reading his poem, "Forgetfulness."
Although my memory seems pretty intact, how would I know?
How do any of us know mind?
Thank you for reading Ox Herding. May we together remember the important things of life!

That's lovely, funny, and scary. Wish early Alzheimer's in my family, I do best not to consider the potential future. Zen is a perfect practice for me!
