Although I posted this video of Coleman Barks reciting Rumi's "Love Dogs" less than a year ago, I'm offering it again as a way of completing this week's theme.
I know that the devotion described in Rumi's poem might make some people uncomfortable. But devotion does seem to be an essential element in love (and in practice). We might ask: What is the nature of this devotion?
Please enjoy!
Thank you for reading Ox Herding. May we together open our hearts in love!

Well, I don't have any problem being offered this video every few months, or so!

I loved this, most especially that I could read the original poem in Persian. You bring joy to my day, everytime you post something.
